Pocket Cards, lots of them!

Here are lots of double pocket cards I made yesterday, I made a few as they were so easy to make and I thought I could take them to my craft fair in August. I found the idea in Papercraft Inspirations but have found this demo on YouTube... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CdGqT1aT2M&feature=related. I've added bookmark type tags to most of the cards using a piece of the paper I cut off. My cards were made with a 10.5" square piece of double-sided paper but you could use other sizes.
For the craft fair I am going to add teabag sachets or seed packets (got some freebies) to the pockets. Need an idea of what I could add to the robot card for a child.

Creative Card Crew Challenge 12 - Pretty Flowers

This is my card for this week's Pretty Flowers challenge over on the Creative Card Crew blog. It is a pocket card made by folding a piece of 10.5" square patterned paper. I've added a matching bookmark to one of the pockets. The 2 flower embellishments are punched from foam. Hope you like it ladies :-)

I followed instructions from the June copy of Papercraft Inspirations to make the card. Same instructions here.

More shaped cards and a couple of other bits...

I made these shaped cards after watching this fab demo on YouTube. I used 12x4" pieces of Bazzill cardstock. The dad card is for my dad for father's Day and is my entry for the current MSE Card Challenge. Big thanks to the lovely Paddington for the fab Secret Garden papers x

This is a mini card holding a teabag inside with a little poem. It's my first go at making one and I hope to make them to sell at the craft fair I'm doing in August. I followed the instructions on this site but to make next time I will make mine slightly taller. I used a piece of ribbon to tie the card as the thickness of the sachet means the card doesn't sit flat. Do you think this would sell at a craft fair?
This is another possible craft fair item, it's a post it note holder. I followed these instructions and it was so easy and quick to make. I am going to make them for my son's teachers as an end of year pressie. The post it note pad is from Tesco, 24p and the pen from a pack of mini pens from Staples (in the sale, 99p for 3 pens). Again, would you buy this at a craft fair? Need to have a think about prices!

Creative Card Crew Challenge 11 - Shape It

This is my entry for the CCC challenge this week. I've made a diamond card using a piece of 12 x 4" Bazzill cardstock and decorated with Basic Grey Archiac papers and stickers. It's for my son's friend's birthday, the wording says 'Tayte is 5'. When folded the card sits as a square. Got the shape idea from this demo.

Twins Card

This is a pocket card I've made for my hairdresser who has just had twin girls.

I used this site for my inspiration for the card design. My paper is by Imaginesce.

This is the back of the pocket with our message on.
These are the card tags for inside the pocket, one each per baby with their name and birth details on (printed onto vellum) and I've backed the card with the same papers as used on the pocket.

Inspired by my friends on MSE I've done some more colouring...

I had a bit of a play last night with some images sent to me by the lovely flourgirl and some new stamps I bought - this set. There are a couple of non stamped cards too. All my papers are by Basic Grey - Wisteria, Lime Rickey and Cupcake.

Creative Card Crew Challenge 10 - Minimal

This is my card for the Creative Card Crew challenge this week. The theme is 'Minimal' so I used minimal embellishments on my card. The card is a small notecard size and I used Lime Rickey paper by Basic Grey, some ribbon, a round greeting from Craftwork Cards backed with a scallop circle.

A Little Pink Box

I decorated this little box to house a pair of earrings for my mum's birthday from my boys. I painted the box with acrylic paint and then cross stitched a little butterfly. Hope she likes it!

Crafty Place May Challenge

This is my card for the very first Crafty Place card challenge. The challenge was to use 3 things - papers, colours (lilac, green and pink), shapes (3 shapes of paper), ribbons (2 lilac and one green), embellishments (3 card candy dots). I used some beautiful papers sent to me by the lovely flourgirl ;-)

Hope I've met the brief x

New cards

This card is for my mum's birthday (gave up on the bookatrix cos I couldn't get it too look nice enough). I used Wisteria papers from Basic Grey. I am going to add MUM somewhere but not decided where yet x

This one is for my friend's husband, he loves American football. I used Lime Rickey papers from Basic Grey, an image from my lovely mate Rusty and Wordle for my wording. My OH thinks it is rubbish as the footballer is not coloured in with the actual Denver Broncos colours.

Few more cards...

This lemon and pink card is made with Crate Papers and lots of Card Candy dots from Craftwork Cards.

This card is quite plain but I loved the paper so much I thought I'd let that me seen fully. All I've done is add a bit of ribbon, couple of pearl gems, a bit of brown ink and a greeting.

This is a card using the tried and tested circle method - have done this lots I know ;-) using Archaic papers from basic Grey, if you look closely you can see two small dinosaurs in one of the circles!

MSE Green Challenge Card

This is my entry for the Green Challenge on MSE. It's very simple but I like it. I used papers from Crate Paper (bought in a sale), some organza ribbon and paper flowers. Hope you like it :-)

Cross stitch for my mun's birthday

Here is the cross stitch picture I have just finished for my mum's birthday present. It is a design by The Trilogy. The design is American so the spelling for Mum is Mom on the chart but I altered the O to a U - think it looks ok ;-) The frame and mount was from Ikea, just hope my mum likes it!
