So onto my DT card, SJ from Little Musings very kindly gave the DT the above digi set to have a play with, thank you SJ. I have used the fab cassette digi image shown above, available to purchase here and some gorgeous Whiff of Joy papers. I made some faux buttons using a Cuttlebug star die to cut 2 stars out of paper and then pierced 2 holes in each star to resemble button holes and then threaded some twine through. I have held back on embellishing the card to make it look more modern and I love the image so much I used it twice ;-)

Happy Mother's Day!

I hope you are all having a lovely Mother's Day and being spoilt or spoiling your own mum. I saw my mum yesterday and also my lil nephew who is very cute and still very dinky xxx

My lovely friend Tams asked me to make her some Mother's Day cards as she has recently had an op on her back and hasn't been able to make anything herself. I was very flattered to be asked but then had a minor heart attack when she asked for 7 cards!!! After calming down I had a trawl of my stash and started to plan some possible cards using different images and colours so I could provide a selection of cards. This is what I came up with...

The next 2 cards are a bit different from my usual style, no images...

I sent another card also to make up the 7 but this is one I had made previously and just added a sentiment. I hope Tams liked them, she said she did but I am always nervous when making cards for others and even more so when the recipient crafts herself!!!
