A dino for my dad

I spotted this incredibly cute dinosaur in the freebie section of the fab DigiStamp Boutique site this month and had to download and colour him in straight away. I've made this birthday card for my dad from my boys (hope my dad will not be offended at having a dinosaur on his card!). I used some gorgeous lime green spotty paper by Echo Park...

A Couple of Kiddie Cards...

My boys had parties to go to on Satruday and I needed to make cards for a 4 year old girl and 7 year old boy. I have a lil look at Pollycraft and found some gorgeous images for children there.

This is my first card, I have actually made 3 of these cards for 3 different children as I love the image and think it's perfect for a girly card...

Something for the men...


It's time for challenge number 21 at CYDA, our theme this time is 'Father's Day/ Special Man' and has been chosen by ME! With Father's Day fast approaching this should be a good challenge to get you cracking on your cards and gifts for the special man/men in your lives.

So onto my DT card, I used a super special digital image called Vintage Ronnie. Ronnie was designed by Paula at Pollycraft and is being sold to raise money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance which is a charity close to the heart of Emma Wood aka Crafty Emma. Ronnie costs a mere £1.50 and can be purchased from Pollycraft here or from Crafty Emma's Store here. I have gone quite bold with the colours on this card, hope my dad likes it ;-)

We're going paperless at Cards for Men!

It's time for a brand new challenge at Cards for Men and we have a fab theme for you - 'No Paper' (i.e. no designer paper). I know what you're thinking, I freaked at first but then calmed down and had a think! (n.b. card must be for a male).

Quick card time!

I made this card in a real rush as I had forgotten someone's birthday, oops :-( The image is a freebie Pink Petticoat stamp with a magazine. I have made a small card using one of the on the edge card blanks from Craftwork Cards, so adds detail without me having to do anything ;-)

A little box

I haven't made anything other than cards for ages so thought I'd make a box for some jewelry for a friend's birthday. I followed the instructions of this tutorial, I love the shape of this box, very elegant. I used some of my new Bo Bunny Gabrielle papers...

We're up to challenge 20 at Craft Your Days Away!!!

I printed Charlie twice so I could decoupage the front balloon and also printed him smaller so I could add him to the inside of the card...

I decorated the inside to complement the front...

An Oriental Card

The challenge at Allsorts this week is Oriental, I don't have much oriental themed stash but happened to find a set of gorgeous images at DigiStamp Boutique and I had to have them. This card has been made with Hana and her dress has been paper pieced. Expect to see some more of these lil beauties ;-)

An Altered Book

My eldest son Jack is going bowling with the Northampton Saints rugby team tomorrow night, whoo hoo, and I am going too, double whoo hoo!!! I have made him this simple little autograph book using a kraft notebook from Paperchase and a fab rugby image from DigiStamp Boutique that I have coloured in the Saints kit colours. If he is too embarrassed to ask the players to sign then I will :-)
