Quickie boy's card

When you're in need of a card in a rush, nothing beats the pre-coloured LOTV images. This card took me about 10 minutes to make and that included selecting my paper and cutting everything to size. Not bad eh?

Here's a card made with a gorgeous sentiment from Raindrop Echo Designs. I have made this card for my aunt for her birthday. She is a cardmaker herself but unlike me likes unfussy, clean cards. Hope this makes her smile...

How many days now...?

I found some very cute mini Christmas stamps recently, they are called Tinchies (by Personal Impressions) and are just over £1 each and very cute. Here is the reindeer face one. I thought I would only use these images on small cards but I have tried this one out on a normal sized card and it means you can see more of the beautiful paper so think it works ok...

Anyone for a cuppa...?

Here is a dinky little card holding a teabag (aquired from a hotel room when we went to Blackpool!). I simply used the dimensions of the teabag package to work out the size of the card. The spine is 1/2 inch...

We're going dotty at Whimsy Inspirations...!

It's Wednesday so that means it's time for a new Whimsy Stamps Inspirations challenge! Our theme this week is 'Polka Dots' so please use spots and dots on your creations!

I have used a fab image called Happy Puppy, isn't he gorgeous. Happy Puppy was designed by Kathryne (StampArt Design) and is available to purchase here. I have teamed Happy Puppy with lots of lovely pinks, hope he likes pink, lol x

Love of Pets

It's Wednesday so that means it's time for a new Whimsy Stamps Inspirations challenge! This isn't my team's week to host the challenge but I am playing along as I love the theme... 'Love of Pets'. As lots of you know I have a big black cat called Ben, he was 10 on Saturday and he is my first baby ;-)

Today is the first day of school for my youngest son, Thomas. I have scheduled this post as I am probably huddled somewhere crying into my tea about where has the time gone...lol x

We are anything but square at Cards for Men!

It's time for a brand new challenge at Cards for Men and our theme is - 'Anything But Square' (n.b. card must be for a male). Our fab sponsor is Pixie Dust Studio. So onto my DT card, I have made an easel card using a card blank and a circle shape, it was very quick and easy to make and I printed my image onto kraft card again for a different look. The image is called Jack Sparrow and is available to purchase here. Isn't he fab! I cut some small circles out of mirri card to resemble gold coins (stole this from my boys craft stuff as I don't use mirri usually!). Let me know what you think...

Whimsy Stamps Colour Challenge

It's Wednesday so that means it's time for a new Whimsy Stamps Inspirations challenge! This is my first DT piece since joining the fab Whimsy team, I hope you will come and play along with us. Our theme this week is a colour challenge and the colour of choice is Green. You can of course use other colours but the main colour must be Green.

I have altered a plain green notebook for my DT work. It was 80p in Tesco and now looks much better I think! I used a fab new Lia Stampz image called Tyalisha available to purchase here. The image also comes with a gorgeous sheet of sentiments.
