A bunny wabbit...

It's a big day for me tomorrow, I start a child behaviour course (related to my job). It carries on until October. I am looking forward to it but pretty apprehensive, I haven't studied for soooooo many years, maybe I've forgotten how...?

Anyway, onto my card... I absolutely loved making this card. The image reminds me of the bunny in the old (1970s-80s) Cadbury's Caramel adverts, do you remember her? The brown flowers on my card have been made using a Shape EZ template, I simply printed the template directly on the back of my paper and cut the flowers out. I then inked round the edges for some dimension and rolled the flowers up. I've popped a brad in the centres. Very easy and the result it fab. You can make smaller or larger flowers depending on how tightly you secure your rolled flower.

I am so pleased with my flowers I thought I'd show them off so here are some closeups...

Papers -Bear Boys Too by Nitwit Collections

Brads - these have quite possibly been in my stash for 3+ years ;-)

Woof, Woof!

I popped into my local Hobbycraft the other week looking for Mother's Day/Easter craft activity ideas for the children at the school where I work. I had a real shock cos it has had a huge makeover since I last visited, maybe 6-8 months ago, maybe longer...? The selection of papers and stamps was far better and I found this little chap for £1.29 and I couldn't leave him in the shop, he needed to come home with me...

Cooking up a storm...

Thomas and I made some yummy gingerbread men (and stars at his request!) yesterday. Never made gingerbread before, I thought it was hard to do but it was really simple and they taste gorgeous...

I also made banana, walnut and chocolate bread, it's delicious, well worth leaving some bananas to over ripen to make ;-)
