Schools out for the summer!!!

Phew, I am so happy to be on school holidays :-) My last day was Tuesday and it was pretty sad but onwards and upwards as new opportunities beckon for September. We spent the day at a country park yesterday with some friends and had a great day.

Here's Jack after zooming down a zip wire...
This is Thomas and his friend Evie...
It was blooming hot and this is us at the end of the day, I'm the one at the end with the owl bag (made by my lovely friend Debbie)...
 Here are all the children...

Great day had by all :-)

Anyway, I digress, I popped on to show you a blank kraft notebook I altered for a leaving present for a lovely lady. As she is a teacher the apple cross stitch design seemed appropriate...

Close up of the stitching, please be nice, this is the first thing I've stitched for a very long time...

Supplies:
A5 Notebook - Paperchase
Ribbon & cardstock - stash
Buttons - from a buttton box I won in a challenge at Crafty Ribbons
