Santa's Balls!

Morning peeps, I completed half of my manual handling training I need to do for work yesterday and have the other half to do tomorrow. I will then be able to assist doing more of the lifting and hoisting of children at school as and when required.

Here is another card using an image from the fab Cute Santa Collection set from Digistamp Boutique. I do love red gingham paper and think it suits these images really well. This is another CAS card with lots of space and just a couple of embellies...

Supplies:
Image - from the Cute Santa Collection set coloured with Promarkers
Paper - Krafty Christmas by Dovecraft
Seam binding & buttons - stash
Other - kraft card, Star Dust Stickles (snowballs & santa hat), brown inkpad, Spellbinders rectangle die

It's A Stitch Up!

Good morning peeps, it's time for a new challenge at Allsorts today and our theme is 'A Stitch Up!' hosted by ME :-) Our wonderful sponsors are Flonzcraft and Marianne Design.

I decided to pick up a needle & thread for this challenge and hand stitched my image and sentiment using a chart from a cross stitch magazine. The image is mostly back-stitching which is quick to do and I really enjoy.

Supplies:
Stitching chart & threads - from a cross stitching magazine
Ribbon & twine - stash
Small buttons - Dovecraft
Bird button - Little Gingham Bear
Paper - can't remember, Garden Party by Dovecraft maybe?

Happy Christmas!

It's nearly the end of the week! I have made a proper start on my Christmas cards. I do tend to send most people a bought card. Working pretty much full-time means time is not on my side to make all my cards. This year I am supporting Clic Sargent for my bought Christmas cards, they have some fab designs in their online shop.

I purchased a super cute Santa set from Digistamp Boutique a while ago and really enjoyed colouring them up adding some sparkle to the hats :-) The boots are already coloured black so there's not actually much colouring required. This card is 4.5" and I have popped a tag with a festive sentiment on it behind the image...

No idea why the next picture looks orangey and blurred (well I do, it's my rubbish photography skills!), the paper is red honest ;-)

Supplies:
Image - Cute Santa Collection coloured with Promarkers
Sentiment - from the Cute Robin Chicklets set
Paper - Krafty Christmas by Dovecraft
Ribbon - stash
Buttons - Crafty Ribbons
Other - Spellbinders rectangle die, Spellbinders Perfectly Pierced Classic Hourglass die (the tag), Star Dust Stickles, brown inkpad

Christmas meeces...

Good morning peeps. Nearly half way through the week already, yippee! I was lucky enough to get some lovely pressies when I left my previous school in July and one of them was a big Hobbycraft voucher. I had a lovely time wandering round in the school holidays picking what I wanted to buy. I bought lots of staples like glue, tape, card, buttons etc and spied a super cute decoupage pad that I thought I'd treat myself too. I don't do much decoupage but thought this Xmas pad was super cute. Of course I had to also purchase the matching papers and buttons ;-)

A close up to show all the glittered layers...

Supplies:
Decoupage image - Winter Woodland pad
Ribbon & pearl snowflake - stash
Buttons - Winter Woodland
Other - Mini Cracker die
