It's blog hop time at Whimsy Stamps!

It's June digi release day at Whimsy Stamps and there are lots of fab new images and beautiful papers. If you are taking part in the Whimsy Stamps blog hop you should have arrived at my lil blog from the Whimsy Stamps blog as I am the first stop!

For my card I have used a fabulous Lia Stampz squirrel image, he is so cute. I have coloured him in a scruffy sort of style to make him look messy/untidy which I think adds to his appeal. The ring of flowers has been made using a Woodware leaf punch and laying the leaves in a ring shape and then popping a flower where two leaves meet (does that make any sense...?). I've used a fab sentiment from Raindrop Echo Designs to finish my card...

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Divas by Design - Anything Goes (2nd entry)
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes (2nd entry)
I Love Promarkers - Use a Digi
Aud Sentiments - Any Sentiment

Supplies:
Image - Squirrel by Lia Stampz coloured with Promarkers & Flexmarkers
Papers - Pampered Pets by Docrafts
Sentiment - from the Animal Companions digi sentiments set by Ann Vento aka Raindrop Echo Designs
Flowers - ebay
Pearls - ebay
Tools - Circle Nesties, Quickutz corner die, Woodware leaf punch, brown chalk inkpad, Stardust Stickles glitter glue

So onto the details of the HOP! Don't forget to leave comments along the way as there are 2 mystery DT Members who will each be choosing a winner from the comments left on their hop posts! These winners will each win a Whimsy digi image of their choice. The Grand Prize winner of the hop will be chosen from the very last stop, which is Joann's blog. This winner will receive 5 digital stamps of their choice from Whimsy. Whoo hoo!

The hop will run for 1 week and end on Friday 8th June at 12 Noon EST (5pm GMT), when the lucky winners will be announced on the Whimsy Inspirations blog.

You now need to hop over to Charlene's blog.

Here’s the order for the Hop in case you get lost…

I'm in Print!!!

The lovely Denise Lynn, owner of Whimsy Stamps, gave me the opportunity to design a card or two for the magazine Complete Cardmaking. My cards are in the latest issue and each one has been awarded a whole page. How fab is that! Here's a peek at the pages, I'll post the cards on my blog at a later date. Some of my fellow teamies from the Whimsy Digital Design Team have also been featured. The magazine comes with a CD full of images, papers and fonts...

Denny with Watering Can

I made this card using a gorgeous freebie digi from the wonderful Pink Gem Design webshop. I have again cheated and used the already coloured image. I have also followed the sketch for the current Pink Gem challenge. I don't usually do sketch challenges but loved this one. I have used artistic license and added lots of extra bits and bobs, hope that is allowed...
