Before I get on with the challenge I just want to say a BIG thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating our 5th birthday at Allsorts. The winner of my prize is Karen Pettit chosen by random.org. Many congratulations Karen, please contact me using the email link in the sidebar and I'll get your surprise to you asap x

Given that Father's Day is only 2 weeks away I have used the opportunity to make one of the cards I need to have ready. I have used a cute image and sentiment from our sponsor Digistamp Boutique. As it's for a chap (whom I know REALLY well, lol!) I have kept the card really simple with just a few buttons for decoration...

Supplies:
Image - Dad Relaxing Cat coloured with Promarkers
Sentiment - Father's Day Words set
Paper - pressie from a lovely friend x
Buttons - The Ribbon Girl & stash
Other - Spellbinders Labels One die, brown chalk inkpad, kraft card

Morning peeps :-) I'm off work for a week now, yippee. I am planning lots of cleaning (oven, fridge that sort of thing), some trips out and about with the boys, lots of reading and of course, a bit of crafting ;-)

Today is very special for us at Allsorts as it is our 5th Birthday! It's been a fabulous five years and it's wonderful to see all you lovely crafters joining in each week, many who have been with us from the start and it's all of you who make Allsorts such a success. I hope I have made my letter Krystal Klear for you to find ;-)

Here is the grid which you need to fill to make two words using those you collect from the DT's own blogs and we have given you one letter to set you on your way:

Thanks so much...

Morning, what lovely weather we've been having here in my neck of the woods :-) My mouth is far less sore now, still painful but the infection is under control.

I've made a thank you card for someone who has worked at my school one day a week as a volunteer for the last 2 years. She is off to university later this year and tomorrow is her last day at school. She is fantastic with the children and we are all going to miss her so much. I thought this cute Bobbi image was perfect to say thank you...

Shows the personalised tag that pops behind the image...
I've also decorated the inside but left it quite plain as several people need to write a message...

Supplies:
Image - Bobbi and Flowers coloured with Promarkers
Paper - Macaroon by Craftwork Cards
Sentiment - Tiny Heartfelt Sentiments by Pink Petticoat
Flowers, buttons & ric rac - stash
Other - Spellbinders Perfectly Pierced Classic Hourglass die (tag), Spellbinders Floral Oval die, Spellbinders oval die, Spellbinders label die, brown chalk inkpad, kraft cardstock, Star Dust Stickles

Purple Passion...

Good morning peeps, well my mouth is finally on the mend. I got treated for an infection in my jaw on Thursday at my usual dentist. Have to say I NEVER want to have a wisdom tooth removed ever again, it's been awful :-( I do have to go back in a few weeks to have some repair work done on the tooth that was beside the problem wisdom tooth as it has caused it some damage. Once that's done I should be all fixed :-) The weekend weather is going to be lovely so I am planning on getting loads of washing dry outside today. Jack has his annual dinner with his rugby club on Sunday and then we are going to watch the local cricket team play at home so that should be a lovely day.

It's time for a new challenge at Allsorts and our theme is 'Purple Passion' hosted by the lovely Tracy. Our wonderful sponsors are A Passion For Stamps and Craft Fairy.

I've used a gorgeous floral image on my card from our sponsor A Passion For Stamps. I have kept the details simple and popped a pretty friendship sentiment behind the image. Apologies for the rubbish photos, it was a very sunny day when I took them and just couldn't get rid of the shadows :-(
