Evening crafters! My boys are off to Taekwon-do soon, it's their last lesson before their grading on Saturday. I am nervous that they may not pass but they don't seem to let nerves worry them so that's good.

This is a card for a very girly 6 year old so it is very pink and not too much in the way of embellies. I love this image...

Here's another quick and easy card for my Xmas box. I've used a Lili of the Valley pre-coloured topper and added some liquid pearl dots to add some interest to the blank space (thanks so much Pop's for this idea x).

Just to let you know, my new job is going really well. I am tired beyond belief at the end of each day but happy tired :-)

Flight of the Butterfly...

Good morning, it's time for a new challenge at Allsorts and our theme this week has been chosen by the lovely Tracy Mouse and is 'Use a butterfly on your creation'. Our wonderful sponsors this week are Digistamp Boutique and Flonzcraft, so 2 chances to win :-) 

So onto my DT card, I have gone a bit butterfly mad with butterfly papers, a gorgeous image from Digistamp Boutique and a little butterfly punchout... 

I then had a look at the finished card and thought the image looked a bit lonely so I added some little dots of liquid pearls around him 'a la Pop's' style and the card now looks like this...

I think it looks better, more interesting. Don't look too close at my dots, they are all different sizes, I need loads more practice at this ;-)

Well, the summer holidays are over and it's my very first day in my new job today - eeekkk! I am really looking forward to it but am so nervous at the same time. So please send me some good luck vibes x
