After doing the Creative Card Crew challenge for this week I thought I'd try the tearing challenge using the same materials. I have torn the black cardstock and around the girl image. I quite like the starkness of the card, I like the black and I didn't think I would.

ReplyDeleteWow I love the cards, This one has to be my favourite though! Where did you get the cardstock from? and also the flowers? so beautiful :) x
ReplyDeleteRusty - cardstock is from Hobbycraft, core-dinations 49p for 12x12 sheet. Flowers were from http://www.sarahscardsltd.com/ as melissa and PLM told me there's no charge for postage for flower orders ;-) I added things in the middle that are like backless brads from here http://www.craftworkcards.co.uk/embellishments_list.asp?type=emb&embellishment=156

Wow Sarah your cards are so beautiful. We may have spent a lot but you certainly used your stash well. I love the red and black colour scheme, very gorgeous with the Geishas. Glad you finally got yourself some flowers xx
ReplyDeleteanother lovely card, the coredinations looks great when its torn :)
ReplyDeleteI love the black & white, I think the flowers just add that feminine touch that stops it from being too stark. Did you stamp the image yourself? It's lovely.
