A Card for Mary

The lovely Mandy over at A Sprinkling of Glitter was in a bit of a state last week as her MIL was due to have a risky operation. The operation was successful and Mandy's MIL Mary is now recovering. My First DT Card for Cards For Men - A Recipe

Ok, this is my first DT card for the fab Cards for Men challenge blog. I am so excited to be joining Donna and the team and I've had a great welcome, thank you ladies x

The challenge this time is a recipe - 1 image, 2 papers and 3 embellishments. Isn't that fab, loads of scope with this one! We are being sponsored this time by One Stop Card Crafts and for the duration of the challenge there is a lovely 10% discount for Cards for Men challenge participants, pop over to Cards for Men to find out the details.

I tend to make male cards using brown and/or blue so I have stepped outsde my comfort zone and I have gone for a summery card (just at the time that it started raining here - roll eyes!). A card with bits that move!

I've wanted to try to make a card with something that moves for ages and have had a go at a seesaw on this card. I've fixed the seesaw with a brad so you can actually move it up and down. I think I may have seen this idea online or in a magazine ages ago but can't remember where...? To make the seesaw I punched out a circle shape and cut a piece off to level one 'side'. I then attached a long piece to the part-circle with a brad. Easy peasy!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
MSE Wanna-b-rich - Try something new (the moveable seesaw)

Supplies:
Paper - Daisy Bucket, sorry don't know design
Cardstock - Core'dinations and Bazzill Basics
Sentiment - Craftwork Cards inked round edge with a Promarker
Dew drops & card candy- from stash
Screw brad - Woodware
