It's the last day of school!!!

It's finally the last day of school, my boys and I have 6 weeks off together!!! Don't get me wrong I love my job but it's sometimes tough and this last couple of weeks have been Tough with a capital T ;-) I have planned lots of catching up with friends, lots of baking (I have missed this since working) and having fun with my two monkeys.

Anyway, here are the cards I made for the boys' teachers/support staff, I made 3 of each so 6 in total. They gave gifts also, I'll pop these in a seperate post. I didn't make them but they are handmade and very cute.

The image on the cards is from Digistamp Boutique, he came as a set of 2 (one boy, one girl) and I think they are perfect for unfussy cards. The papers are from Nitwit Collections, I just love the apples paper :-)

The second card is very similar (look quickly and they look identical!) but I used different ribbon and instead of buttons I used themed brads that I found in my stash (an apple and a ruler)...

I would like to enter the top card in the following challenges:
Incy Wincy - Dust It Off (seam binding leftover from Xmas cards, apple punch never used, had brads for years!)
Digistamp Boutique - July Competition
Divas by Design - Anything Goes

Supplies:
Image - from the set Thank You Kids by Digistamp Boutique (I only purchased this recently but I can't see that it's available now?)
Papers - from the set Live 'n Learn by Nitwit Collections
Brads, pearls & buttons - stash
Ribbons - Crafty Ribbons
Other - apple punch (been in my stash for aaagggeeesss but I'd never used it), Quickutz corner die, brown chalk inkpad

  1. Hello Sarah,

What a great collection of cards, I'm sure the teachers really appreciated them. One of my daughters is a teacher and I know this last couple of weeks has been really manic.

Have a lovely weekend, enjoy the summer holidays and let's hope we get some nice sunny weather, it is certainly well overdue.

As your cards are predominantly red they would fit perfectly into the little challenge I've got running on my blog.

  9. Fab cards and great papers.
I always enjoyed time with my girls during Hols and tried to have some extra time off with them. They grow up so fast.
    Enjoy.
