Through the Window...

I made this card a while ago when challenging myself to make an all white card. I had an idea in my head to stamp the image on the inside of the card and to cut a hole in the front panel to form a sort of window. This is the finished card, I quite like it. Both stamps I used are by Flonz Craft who are a New Zealand based stamp company who deliver worldwide.

Supplies:
Images - Kindergarten Children Swinging and Three Butterflies
Flowers & pearls - stash
Embossed cardstock - Craftwork Cards
Organza ribbon - ebay (I think?)
Other - Woodware leaf punch, Star Dust Stickles (on the butterfly)

Make a Gift...

Good morning, it's time for a new challenge at Allsorts and our theme this week has been chosen by ME and is 'Make a Gift'. Our wonderful sponsors this week are A Passion for Stamps and The Craft Barn. So 2 chances to win :-)
4 images of winners choice    £15 on line spend
So onto the gift I made, a hanging calendar using a pretty floral image from our sponsor A Passion for Stamps. I made this for a lovely friend of mine for her birthday. I coloured up the image first, mounted it on the fancy cut oval die and then backed a 2014 calendar tab onto some card. I laid these 2 pieces out onto a piece of card to work out how big the base needed to be. I attached a length of seam binding to the top so the calendar can be hung...

Supplies:
Image - Lupins coloured with Promarkers & Flexmarkers
Papers - Perfect Pair from Lili of the Valley
Seam binding - Crafty Ribbons
Other - Spellbinders Floral Oval die, Spellbinders oval die, Anita's calendar tab, brown chalk inkpad, kraft cardstock

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

So onto my DT card, I initially freaked out because lots of white scares me but I then thought maybe I could use a sentiment as a focal point and emboss some cardstock to create the background and this is what I made...

All of a Twitter...

I've used my Christmas Twitter stamp again but changed the colour scheme and layout. I seem much more organised with my Christmas card making this year than last year. I use bought cards for most people (and purchased these in Paperchase after Xmas 2012!) so don't need to make hundreds but I found it all a bit of a chore last year. I have enjoyed the making much more this year and have indulged in quite a few new digi images and a couple of stamps.

Supplies:
Stamp - Christmas Twitter by Penny Black
Papers - Nordic Christmas by First Edition
Flowers - The Ribbon Girl
Buttons - stash

Hope you are having a good week,
