We are Free and Easy at Allsorts this week...

Good morning, happy new year! I've had a fabulous couple of weeks spending quality time with family and friends. It's back to work for me on Monday, roll on the February week off :-) It's my youngest's birthday on Tuesday, can't believe he will be 7! We are off to the Roald Dahl Children's Centre in Aylesbury later today for Thomas' birthday treat. He doesn't know where we're going yet, hope he likes the surprise ;-) He is having a party next Saturday at the local Si5 Spy Missions centre.

It's time for a sparkly new challenge at Allsorts and our theme is 'Free and Easy' chosen by the lovely Tracy. So a nice easy one to get you crafting, lol. Our wonderful sponsors are Nicecrane Designs and Digistamp Boutique. So 2 chances to win :-)

Onto my DT make, I have made a vintagey (is that a real word?) birthday card using a beautiful image from Nicecrane Designs. I have picked out the pale pink of the flowers in her hair and added lots of flowers and some pretty seam binding in a double bow. I think pre-coloured images may be the way forward for me craft-wise, think using them more will mean I can make more cards. I do love my pens but I am finding it difficult to find the time to colour :-(

Supplies:
Image - from the Sweet Birthdays set from Nicecrane Designs
Papers - Mint Julep by Basic Grey
Flowers - The Ribbon Girl & stash
Buttons, doily & pearls - stash
Seam Binding - Crafty Ribbons
Other - Spellbinders Floral Oval die, Spellbinders oval die, Quickutz corner die, brown chalk inkpad, kraft cardstock

Please do come and join us over at Allsorts this week for our challenge x

Hope you have a lovely weekend and I hope you can join in with our challenge:-)
