Morning peeps, I have a confession to make... I am scared of inks. I see so many beautiful inky creations on blogs and love them but feel I could never create anything remotely as lovely. Well I've taken the first step into the inky world. I needed to make a large batch of thank you cards for teaching assistants and wrap around care staff and I had an idea in my head using a stencil and ink. I purchased the supplies I needed and got to work and well I am very chuffed to admit it worked!
The cards are quite small and I've made 20 of them in different colours. What do you think...?
Supplies:
Stencil -
Texture Mesh by Memory Box
Inks -
Tim Holtz Mini Distress Pad Kit 1
Sentiments & cards -
Craftwork Cards
Other -
Ranger Mini Ink Blending Tool
Thanks for looking,
These look fabulous Sarah, such great designs and I love how you have used different colours on the sentiments.

Very cool Sarah
ReplyDeleteWell done you on biting the inky bullet Sarah and have to say it looks very impressive.
ReplyDeleteI remember only too well how I used to look at lovely inky work and dream, that was before blogs and all you could find in those days were store galleries. It's like all things, it only comes with confidence - perhaps I should employ that theory with my Copics and who know I might lean to colour in.
