Have A Relaxing Day...

Good morning, it's my gorgeous dad's birthday today :-) We are off to Whipsnade Zoo to celebrate, he loves Whipsnade, especially the big cats. Fingers crossed for lovely weather!

It's also time for a new challenge at Allsorts today and our theme is 'Masking and/or Stenciling' hosted by the lovely Helene. Our wonderful new sponsor is ACE Envelopes and this is the fabulous prize...  

 

I chose to use Stenciling for my card. Now, as you know up until a couple of weeks ago I had never owned or used a stencil and I have so far only had a little dabble - I am an absolute novice at this inking stuff ;-) I now own 4 stencils and 4 coloured inkpads! On this card I have used the same stencil 3 times at slightly different angles and different coloured inks - blue, yellow and orange. I love how the colours I have used look on the kraft card background.
