Happy 40th Clair x

Good morning, nearly the weekend again :-) I made this card for my lovely friend Clair who is celebrating a very special birthday this week. It took me ages to select the image for this card but when I landed on this in my ever growing digital stash I knew it was the right one. I met Clair when we were both 22 so we've known each other for quite some time ;-) The image comes with a cheeky sentiment which I have cut out in a tag shape and tucked behind the image...

I had a strip of paper left and thought I'd pop it inside...
  
I made a simple pocket to house a gift card inside the card...
 
Supplies:
Image & sentiment - JJ Housework Cook from Bugaboo coloured with Promarkers & Flexmarkers
Papers - Promises from Lili of the Valley
Flowers, buttons, pearls & ric-rac - stash
Other - Spellbinders circle & scallop circle dies, Spellbinders Perfectly Pierced Classic Hourglass dies, brown inkpad
