A few news cards I made with Papermania Regency paper

All of these cards are made with the new Papermania Regency papers and then other bits and bobs I already had - ribbon, flowers, brads, buttons and I've done a bit more stamping. The greeting messages I used were from a pack of die-cut sticker greetings in the Daisy and Dandelion range and they were 50p for a sheet, I've inked them to alter the colour.

Creative Card Crew Challenge 8 - Sketch It

I really enjoyed this sketch challenge as it isn't something I usually do. I used a scallop edged card from Craftwork Cards and Lime Rickey papers from Basic Grey. My poor photography skills do not do the card justice as the papers are much more vibrant in colour than this pic shows x

Creative Card Crew Challenge 7 - Round & Around

For this card I used a card blank from Craftwork Cards and Basic Grey papers. I have tried to incorporate several circle shapes!

MSE Water Challenge Card

I used a frame from Craftwork Cards and created a sea picture using bits of Basic Grey papers.

I've been colouring in...

Here are my first ever coloured in stamped images (I don't own any of the stamps, cheated and bought ready stamped images from ebay). I bought the pens from ebay too, Whispers Strokes brush pens and I love them!!! My fave card is this girl and I'm going to give this card to my mum today as she is having a hard time on radiotheraphy.

I've used green ink on the white bits of the boy card and tried to make it look a bit scruffy.

I am going to add the word WOOF to the ribbon on this one!

Think I'm going to add some words to this one too, maybe relax or enjoy or something?

This one is very delicate. My OH thinks it all blurs together but I like it. I've added a tiny bit of glitter glue around the butterflies.

Dinosaur Card

This was quite quick to make with some Basic Grey Archaic paper and a few cardstock stickers.

A black and blue card

This photo doesn't really do justice to the blue colour on the card. I think the paper is beautiful. It came today and I had to make something with it as I love it so much. Hope you like it too!!!

Creative Card Crew Challenge 6 Monochrome Madness

Here is my card for the Creative Card Crew Monochrome Madness challenge. I used a DL card, patterned paper from Daisy Bucket backed with black Bazzill cardstock, a black paper flower layered onto a white paper flower, black organza ribbon, I stamped a mini flower in black ink onto white card and cut with a circle punch and inked round the edge, black gems are stuck on to the end of some of the black swirls on the patterned paper (pic doesn't really show these up).

Cards Made With Daisy Bucket papers

Here are a few cards I made on Easter Sunday using some Daisy Bucket papers I bought in a sale. I cut the large pastel flower out of a sheet of scrapbook paper and curled the petals round a pencil so they sort of have a 3D effect. I may use this one for my friend's birthday so will be adding some wording to the middle of the flower. Hope you like them.

Finally Made Edible Fudge!!!

Here is my first ever successful attempt at making fudge - thanks to my lovely friend Gemm. It took me 2 attempts as I forgot the milk the first time ;-)

It is so nice I have packaged some up to go with MIL's Easter pressie. Thanks for the recipe and the encouragement Gemm. If anyone else would like to try making some... http://handmadebygemma.blogspot.com/2009/04/fudge-by-popular-demand.html

Creative Card Crew Challenge 5 - Happy Easter

Finished sticthing my Easter cards today, only sending a few this year. I've used DCWV Spring papers, various ribbons and cut letters and the belt buckle out of Bazzill card using my fab Quickutz Squeeze. Not sure whether to ink the edges of the card or not? Might do one and see how it looks?

Making the cards was making me hungry for chocolate ;-) Hope the weather is good at the weekend as going to try and do an egg hunt for the boys in the garden.

Couple of alterations...

I've added some tiny blue gems to the centres of the stamped flowers and think they look better now.

Few More Urban Prairie Cards and I Tried Stamping...

Had a bit of a lazy day on Saturday so took some time to make a few more cards using the gorgeous Urban Prairie papers. This time I have stamped images on them in brown ink - haven;t stamped for years! I used some Papermania unmounted stamps that came free with Creativity Life magazine.

Not sure I should add gems or something to the middles of the stamped flowers on this one...

MSE Thrifty Challenge Card

This is my entry for the MSE Card Challenge this week - a thrifty card. Mine is not strictly a thrifty card but I have used lovely paper and minimal embellishments. Costed as follows: card blank 15p from Craftwork Cards; Dovecraft Wild Blossom paper x 1 sheet 6p from Creative Craft World; Butterfly chipboard shape 5p from CCW as before; pink card candy dots from Craftwork Cards x 3 approx 2p; printed message from Craftwork Cards 6p. So the sum total of my card excluding glue and 3D foam is: 34p. Is that MSE, don't think it's too bad for a large sized card ;-)

As I had all the Dovecraft stuff out also made these two cards - very pink! The bottom one is my favourite with the paper flowers.

Creative Card Crew Challenge 4 Texture

I have made this card for the Creative Card Crew Texture challenge. For this card I mainly used products from Craftwork Cards: a large scallop edged white card; white card candy (fixed with 3D foam squares) all round the outside edge of the card; the paper and circle embellishments are from a Craftwork Cards die-cut pack - bought in the sale for 50p ;-). The circles are raised using foam pads and I also inked the edges of the circles. I added a bit of white ric rac ribbon onto the paper strips and adhesive pearls on the circles for a bit of extra texture.

Quite different card for me but I think I like it.
