Cards for Men - Let's Party!

It's time for a brand new challenge at Cards for Men today and we have a fab theme for you to follow 'Let's Party' (n.b. card must be for a male).

Our sponsor this time is the fab Meljen's Designs and the prize is 4 Meljen digi images! The DT had some lovely images to play with. "Meljen's Designs is a lovely stamp company owned and illustrated by Melissa Jenkins. She illustrates whimsical rubber and digital images inspired by her kids and family. Meljen's Designs has new releases along with a new challenge every Thursday, freebies every Monday and a Guest Designer each month at the Meljen's Designs Blog. Please visit the Meljen's Designs line of stamps at the WHIMSY STAMPS STORE to browse and enjoy Melissa's wonderful images!"

Please pop over to the challenge blog to check out the details of our new challenge. As always the DT have made some wonderful cards, please do pop across and have a peek and have a go at the challenge while you're there. So, onto my DT card, I have used an image called Chili Chihuahua, I think he's just adorable and have made this card for my little brother's birthday (he's not that little, 32 this month!). I have used the image twice on my zigzag card, one a mirror image of the original (I just flipped it over). I used a paper piercer tool to make holes in the papers around the edges and also used a brown chalk ink pad to ink the edges of the papers, images and sentiments. I hope you like it, it was a really fun card to make.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Meljens - Square or Round
Stamp Something - Anything Goes
Totally Papercrafts - Happy Birthday

Supplies:
Cardstock - Bazzill kraft
Paper - some old Cosmo Cricket, trying to use up some of my neglected stash ;-)
Image - Chili Chihuahua by Meljen's Designs from Whimsy Stamps coloured with Promarkers
Buttons - stash
Sentiment ribbon - Pink Petticoat
Sentiment (on red paper) - generated on PC
Tools - paper piercing tool, brown chalk inkpad
