I tried a new thing...

My friend Claire made a beautiful card a couple of weeks ago that housed some tealight candles. I loved it and bookmarked the tutorial Claire used to make her card. I had the opportunity today to have a go making my own card and I made this. I am pretty pleased with it, the tutorial is excellent. I made my card half an inch bigger and the box holding the candles is 1/4" bigger as my tealights were wider. I've made the card for a lady who works at my son's school who has had some bad news healthwise and I thought she may like to know that we are thinking of her.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
CRAFT - Moving Components (the candle box opens, does that count?)

Supplies:
Image - Dandelion Love coloured with Promarkers
Papers - Jack & Jill by Prima
Cardstock - Bazzill kraft and basics
Flowers & leaves - selection from Wild Orchid Crafts & Crafty Emma's Store. The large peach flower came from a candy win on the lovely Bev's blog, thank you so much Bev x
Sentiment ribbon - Pink Petticoat
Pearls & fibre - stash
Candles - Yankee Candle
Tools - MS Scoreboard, MS zigzag edge punch, circle & scallop circle and oval and scallop oval Nesties
