Reindeer Food and some Snowflakes

Here are a couple more craft fair makes. The reindeer food took abolsutely ages to make because the reindeer faces were very fiddly to put together. Finally done now. I used my plastic bag sealer for the first time on my reindeer food bags and it worked brilliantly. Had it a year and only just used it!

The reindeer food is made with oats (Tesco Value) and coloured sugar crystals (I bought Billington's sugar crystals and added red and green food colouring to them, mixed well, let it dry and mixed with the oats). The verse reads: Just a sprinke on the lawn at night, The moon will make it sparkle bright, As Santa's reindeer fly and roam, This treat will guide them to your home. The reindeer head is a Quickutz die.

These are snowflakes cut from vellum with a punch in a cello bag with a verse: So you'll be sure to have some snow at Christmas time this year, Santa sends these snowflakes in hope they bring good cheer.

  1. My friend bought the girls a bag similar to your reindeer food last year except it had glitter not crystals in it. They absolutely loved sprinkling it on the green outside our house :) Well worth the effort for all the smiles you've produced there :)
