Teabag Cards for my fair...

Here are my teabag holder cards. I made some of these for my fair in the summer and they sold really well so have made 24 for my next one. They have been a bit of a labour of love as they've taken me all blinking week to get made. One evening cutting, scoring and gluing the card, the next sticking on the ribbons and papers and decorating with buttons and other bits. Last night I printed the poem, stamped and coloured the dinky holly images, stuck the poems inside and adding the teabags. Whew, I need a cuppa now ;-)
The poem reads: On Christmas Day, At half past three, Make yourself a cup of tea, I'll think of you, You think of me, Underneath the Christmas tree.

My teeny tiny pots of Rudolph's Spares...

Finally got round to finishing my Rudolph's Spares tins for Christmas Day table favours (made 9 tins). I bought the tins from Sarah's Cards and was a bit gobsmacked when they arrived and were oh so tiny!!! Once they had sweeties in (Jelly Belly cherry beans), they looked much better I have to say and it is an MSE way to do the favours as I've used far less sweets as the tins are so dinky ;-)
I decorated the tins with some gingham ribbon and a holly punch with some red Stickles glitter glue added for sparkly berries. My handwritten tag looks pretty amatuerish but as they are for family, I don't mind x

Look what I received for the friendship card swap...

Wow, wow, wow, isn't everything beautiful! Thank you so much Karen, I love absolutely everything. The card is gorgeous, the verse inside reads: Your fairy is called Feather Goblinglitter, She is a bringer of riches and wealth, She lives in high places where the clouds meet the earth, She is only seen in the light of a shooting star, She wears pale blue and has gentle wings like a butterfly. Isn't that just beautiful!!!

Look at the fab stash Furrypig sent me...

Look at all this stash sent to me by the lovely furrypig for the October stash swap on Crafty Place. Everything is colour co-ordinated and blue is my favourite colour!!! Thank you lovely lady x

More Craft Fair Makes...

Sussed out the measurements for these little bags and made a few for the craft fair. They have Twilight mints inside. Idea nicked from here. If they don't sell I have something nice to munch ;-)

A few bookmarks. I am also going to try and make some using the 2010 calendar on Splitcoaststampers site and thinking of making some using paperclips but that's only if I have enough time and can find some big enough paperclips.

A few decorated notebooks. I used cheapie notebooks from Tesco. Have also got some smaller notebooks from Asda to decorate but not sure if I have the time to do those ready for the 1st fair.

This is the ATC I made for Karen for the ATC swap over on Crafty Place. The theme was food and drink so I used my new beautiful Basic Grey Nook and Pantry papers and stamped a very cute tea cup (Elzybells stamp) and added a dinky teapot charm and some ribbon. I also made Karen a magnetic peg for her fridge (or wherever she'd like to put it!).

Craft Fair Things

These are Jingle Beans. I used plastic test tubes from ebay and added some dotty ribbon around the stopper. The beans are Jelly Belly beans. I have made 15 sets for the craft fair in November, not sure about price yet, need to work that out.
These are tubes of Snowman Poop (nicked idea from Sharon's fab blog). I used the same plastic test tubes as the Jingle Beans but this time added mint Tic Tacs and some red ribbon round the stopper. I made the label in Word using a freebie snowman image (from Dustin Pike blog I think?) and made him really tiny.
This is a Santa key. I've only recently heard about this idea and think it's adorable, especially as most people these days don't have chimneys!!! My keys are very large metal charms.
These little cuties are Elizabeth Shaw mints with a Christmas Greeting. Nice and simple! Not sure if I am going to sell these at the fair or give them away when someone buys from my stall.
Most of these ideas have been stolen from the fabulously talented Helen's blog. Please do go and check it out as it is brimming with fantastic ideas!!!
So quite a productive evening for me, need several more like that to get things done for the fair. Only 3 weeks away now and so much still to do!!!

Basic Grey Week 6 Challenge - A Colour Combo

This is my card for the Basic Grey Colour Combo challenge. I used my gorgeous BG Eskimo Kisses papers and pale blue & red Bazzill cardstock. The uber cute mouse is from Elzybells and coloured with Promarkers. Buttons and ribbon were from my ever expanding stash ;-) I was going to add a sentiment but prefer the card without x

Just Magnolia Week 27 - Bright and Zingy

This is my card for the Just Magnolia challenge this week. The term bright and zingy screamed Basic Grey Lemonade papers to me and I was thrilled to dig them out and have a play with them - had forgotten I had them to be honest ;-) I used a Tilda image I bought from ebay and coloured her with Promarkers and a touch of Stickles Icicle. All papers and buttons are from the Basic Grey Lemonade range. The flowers are cut with a punch and bent to make them 3d with a dew drop in the centre. The pink jute ribbon is from Quixotic Paperie. The sentiment inside the card is by Magnolia (friends fill your life with smiles) and the flower/butterfly stamped image is by Inkadinkado (can't remember name or where it's from).

Simon Says Sketch By Domi - too late to enter

I made this card following the fab sketch for the Simon Says Challenge but forgot to add to to my blog and enter the challenge in time - d'oh ;-)

I loved making this card and thought the sketch was beautiful. I used my brand new gorgeous BG Nook and Pantry papers.

These arrived today...

This lovely card and ATC arrived today for me from the lovely Niki aka MrsTidge. Aren't they fab x

Please help me find a name...

Sorry about the shadowy pics but you know I can't take decent photos ;-) These little lovelies arrived today by first class mail from the lovely Greenpixey. I asked Greenpixey if she would make me one of her fab bunnies for me to give to my friend's beautiful little girl Georgia for Christmas. Isn't she just gorgeous. The fab carrot was a complete surprise - naughty Greenpixey included him in my parcel too.
I need some help to name the bunny please. Please let me know if you can think of something festive that would suit this adorable rabbit x

Passion for ProMarkers Challenge Week 21 - Any Colours & Sketch

I loved making this card for the PFP challenge this week as I love the simplicity of the sketch. I used a card blank and greeting from Craftwork Cards, a beautiful cute Tilda image bought from ebay coloured with ProMarkers, cardstock is Bazzill and papers are MME Bloom & Grow. I coloured the flowers and their centres with ProMarkers to match my image. Hope you like it x

Creative Card Crew Challenge 32 - Scallops

Here is my card for the Creative Card Crew Scallop challenge. I have scallops everywhere - the card blank, scallop lace and a few scallop circles! I used a card blank and greeting from Craftwork Cards, papers are MME Bloom & Grow, paper lace by K&Co and coloured with a Promarker pen, dinky flowers are cut with a Woodware punch and I've bent the petals upwards to give them some dimension and popped a dew drop in the centres. The large scallop circle is cut with a 3" Woodware punch, circle is cut with a 2.5" Woodware punch and the small scallop circle is cut with a Quickutz journalling die. The image was bought from ebay and coloured with Promarkers.

Crafty Place October card challenge - Autumn

As we are in October and I have bought some gorgeous Halloween images from ebay, I thought I'd make a Halloween card for The Lady Boz's Autumn challenge. I love this Tilda! The image is from ebay, coloured with Promarkers. The card blank and greeting is from Craftwork Cards, cardstock is Bazzill, papers are MME Bloom and Grow, 3 dinky dew drops are from Sarah's Cards and the gorgeous lace is from Quixotic Paperie.

Crafty Place Alter a Container for Halloween

I didn't think I'd take part in Rusty's fab alter a container for Halloween challenge on Crafty Place as we don't really celebrate Halloween in our house. However, after spying some gorgeous ribbon online, here are my little altered containers for the challenge, they are for my boys. I have covered a dinky tin in some orange Bazzill cardstock and some gorgeous spider web ribbon from Quixotic Paperie and filled it with chocolates in the shape of eyeballs and skeletons - lovely, the boys will think they are great! The tubes are plastic test tubes with the same ribbon on and a greeting and filled with orange Tic Tacs. The test tube idea was nicked from here and here x

MSE Halloween Card Challenge

Here is my card for the MSE Halloween card challenge run by the lovely Mel. I have opted for a non-scary sort of pretty Halloween card to give to a little girl. I bought the gorgeous Tilda pre-stamped image from ebay and coloured her with Promarkers. The card blank is from Craftwork Cards, cardstock is Bazzill, papers are MME Bloom & Grow (ooohhh I love these) and paper lace is by K&Co. The flower is a white Prima e-line one coloured in Lavender Promarker pen and the flower centre is a white card candy dot from Craftwork Cards also coloured with a Promarker.

Pegs and Bags to show you...

Here are a few bits I have made for my craft fairs. Both ideas have been completely shamelessly nicked from the fantastic It's All Fiddle Fart blog. The pegs are basic wooden clothes pegs with a small magnet glued onto the back, front side covered in paper and decorated with gems, buttons, flowers etc. The handbags are too tall so I need to work on that but I like the overall effect of the bags and they were so quick to make.

Girly Card for 3 Challenges and a Very Good Cause...

This is my entry for these 3 challenges:
Simon Says 24 Hour Card for Paige/Girly Challenge
Basic Grey Week 5 Challenge - A Sketch by Martine
Passion for ProMarkers Week 19 - Apricot & Cool Aqua & Flower

I have followed Martine's fabby sketch for the Basic Grey challenge and will be sending the card to Paige for the Simon Says Challenge. I have used a card blank and an oval die-cut greeting from Craftwork Cards, beautiful Basic Grey Marrakech papers, Basic Grey Lemonade buttons, Prima e-line white flowers coloured with cool aqua and apricot ProMarkers with vanilla dew drops added to the centres. The image was given to me so not sure what it is (sorry!) I have coloured her with cool aqua, apricot, sandstone, ivory & blush ProMarkers and matted her onto some apricot and pale blue cardstock.

Thanks for looking x

Another Christmas Card...

I love this Tilda image, she's so pretty! The paper is from a Papermania Christmas range and is leftover bits from some coaster calendars I made. The snowflakes are by K&Co, Swell Noel. Not my usual 'style' but I think I quite like it ;-)

A Christmas Card for 2 Challenges

This is my card for the following 2 challenges...
Creative Card Crew Challenge 30 - All That Sparkles
Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge 51 - Aminal Antics

For the card I have used a large square card blank & circle greeting from Craftwork Cards, green & red Bazzill cardstock, Eskimo Kisses papers from Basic Grey, the glittered 3D snowflake is from K&Co Swell Noel range. The gorgeous stamp is by Gillian Roberts and called Bear and Robin and coloured with Promarkers and white opaque pen. The ribbon was from my stash and the scallop circle was cut with my Quickutz Squeeze and is part of a 2 die set called journaling block. I used lots of Stickles Icicle glitter glue on the bears Santa hat.

Hope you like it x

Advent Calendar Countdown...

I had a go making this cute advent calendar countdown thingie after seeing this fab idea on Helen's brilliant blog. I have used a chipboard coaster, printed the text in Word and cut out. I added a holly stamp to each page and coloured in with ProMarkers. The paper covering the coaster and clip is by Papermania and the 3D snowflakes are from K&Co Swell Noel range. I am going to add this to my mum and dad's advent countdown bag - here.

I loved making this and want to say a huge thank you to Helen for the brilliant idea xxx

Here's Karen's Cake!!!

I have been wanting to make this cake all week and finally got round to it today. It smelt gorgeous whilst cooking! If you fancy having a go at Karen's brilliant fruit cake recipe have a look at post 18 on this thread on the Crafty Place forum.

Christmas card for a few challenges...

I have made the above card to enter for the following challenges...

I have used a large square card blank from Craftwork Cards, red Bazzill cardstock for layering, beautiful Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses papers (god it is soooo hard to cut into these!), a Christmas circle sentiment from Craftwork Cards, red dew drops from Sarah's Cards and a freebie digital christmas tree image from DigiStamp Boutique. The image is coloured with ProMarker pens and a touch of Stickles Icicle glitter glue on the star. Green organza ribbon and white ink are from my stash.

Hope you like it x
